Roofing in Stroud and the Towns Around It

We fix, replace and inspect roofs on homes in Stroud and the small towns nearby. We set up the job, do it right, clean up and leave you with a roof that sheds water and keeps more summer heat out of your home.

Where We Work

Most of our work is in Stroud. We also drive out to Chandler, Cushing, Bristow, Drumright and Perkins on a regular basis. If your home sits out in the country between those towns, give us a ring anyway. Odds are we are already working near you.

Your town does not change how we do the job. We get up on the roof and go over the shingles, flashing, vents and decking, then tell you in plain words what needs work and what is still sound. You get photos of what we found and a written estimate that spells out what every piece of the work costs, from tear-off to the last ridge cap. Then the choice is yours. We handle roof repair, roof replacement, roof inspections, storm damage repair and gutters, plus commercial roof repair and replacement for local shops and buildings.

What We See on Roofs Around Here

  1. 01

    Older homes

A lot of houses in this part of Oklahoma are older ranch and farm-style homes. Many have had more than one roof put on over the years. When we tear off, we often find soft decking, rusted drip edge or old vent boots that were never swapped. We show you what is under there before we fix it, so the price does not change on you halfway through.

  2. 02

    Hail and wind

Spring storms bring hail and hard straight-line wind. Hail dents shingles and strips off the gritty coating that shields the asphalt from the sun. Wind lifts tabs and breaks the seal strip. Neither always shows from the ground. After a big storm, a roof inspection tells you if you have damage worth filing on, and we can walk you through how the insurance process works.

  3. 03

    Summer heat and your attic

Long hot summers bake a dark roof. That heat soaks into the attic and pushes your air conditioner harder. Good ridge and soffit venting lets the hot air out. Lighter or reflective shingles can help too. We look at your attic airflow on every replacement, because a cooler attic means a more comfortable house and a roof that lasts longer.

  4. 04

    Winter ice

Ice storms are not rare here. Ice that backs up at the eaves can push water under shingles. Clean gutters that drain well and an ice and water barrier along the edges cut down on that risk.

  5. 05

    Permits

Rules differ from town to town, and homes outside city limits can fall under different rules. Where a permit is needed for a reroof, we pull it and schedule any inspection, so you are not stuck figuring it out.
