Stroud Roofing, Sealed and Vented So Your Home Stays Comfortable

We handle roof repair, full roof replacement, inspections, storm damage repair and gutters for homes in Stroud and out toward Chandler and Cushing. Every job includes a look at your attic airflow and flashing, because a roof that breathes right and stays sealed keeps your rooms steadier and your cooling system working less.

  • Attic airflow checked
  • Written line-item estimates
  • Photos of what we find
  • Yard cleaned every work day

Why Folks Hire Stroud Roofing

We keep it simple. Look first, explain what we saw, then do the work right and clean up.

Over 20 Years on Roofs, Combined

Our crew brings over 20 years of combined roofing experience. That means we have seen how shingles, flashing and decking fail, and we know what a lasting fix looks like.

Workmanship Backed for Life

Our installs carry a lifetime workmanship warranty. If something we put on your roof was done wrong, we come back and make it right.

We Start in the Attic

A lot of roof trouble shows up underneath first. Damp decking, rusty nail tips and hot, stale air tell us if the roof is venting the way it should. We check that before we talk about shingles.

Honest Repair-or-Replace Answers

If a repair will give you good years, we say so. If the roof is past saving, we show you why with photos instead of just telling you.

Venting Done Right, Not Guessed

We balance intake at the eaves with exhaust at the ridge. Done right, that moves summer heat out of the attic and helps keep moisture from building up in winter.

Roofing Services for Your Home and Business

Most calls start with a leak, a storm, or a roof that is simply old. We do roof repair when a fix will hold and roof replacement when it won't. We also run roof inspections, storm damage repair and gutters, plus commercial roof repair and commercial roof replacement for local buildings. On every job we look at how the roof vents and seals, since that is where comfort and running costs are won or lost.

  • Roofers tearing old shingles off a brick ranch home down to bare decking, with shingle bundles on the ridge and a dump trailer full of debris in the driveway

    Roof Replacement

Full tear-off, new underlayment and attic ventilation done right, so your new roof keeps water out and summer heat out of your rooms.

  • Roofer in gloves kneeling on an asphalt shingle roof, fitting new shingles around a pipe boot flashing, with a loose shingle nearby and lawn below the eave

    Roof Repair

We track down leaks, lifted shingles and failed flashing, fix what is actually broken, and tell you plainly if the roof still has years left.

  • Roofer in a safety harness sits at the roof edge atop a ladder with a clipboard, inspecting shingles and vents while a homeowner watches from the front yard

    Roof Inspections

A close look at your roof, attic and gutters, with photos and a plain report on what is fine, what needs work and what can wait.

  • Roofer in a cap and tool belt pries up damaged shingles along a roof valley beside a blue tarp held down with boards on a brick home under overcast skies

    Storm Damage Repair

We repair hail and wind damage to shingles, flashing and vents, check the attic for wet insulation, and give you photos for an insurance claim.

  • Worker on an aluminum extension ladder using a cordless drill to fasten a white seamless gutter to the fascia of a brick house, with a white downspout at the corner

    Gutters

New gutters, downspouts and repairs sized for your roof, so rainwater lands well away from the fascia, the foundation and the crawlspace.

  • Roofer in a safety harness with a nail gun installing rolled roofing on a low-slope commercial roof, with a ladder and dump trailer below

    Commercial Roof Replacement

New low-slope and metal roofs for shops, offices and small commercial buildings, with fresh insulation and drainage built in.

  • Roofer in a safety harness kneeling on a flat commercial roof beside a roll of modified bitumen, a roof drain, a propane torch and exposed deck boards

    Commercial Roof Repair

Leak tracing and repairs for TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up and metal roofs on shops, offices and churches.

What Moves the Price of a Roof Job

Roof prices vary a lot from one house to the next, and we won't guess at yours over the phone. The number comes from what we see on the roof and in the attic. These are the things that swing it most.

Once we have inspected the roof, you get a written estimate with each item on its own line. If we run into something new mid-job, we show you and talk it through before we keep going.

Size and Pitch
A bigger roof needs more shingles, more underlayment and more time. A steep roof takes longer to work safely, with harnesses and roof jacks set at every stage, and that labor shows up in the price.
Condition of the Decking
If the plywood under the shingles is soft or rotted, it has to come out and new boards go in. Sometimes that only shows once the old layer is stripped, so your estimate spells out how any replaced boards get priced.
Material Choice
Standard asphalt, heavier impact-rated shingles and lighter, more reflective colors all price differently. A reflective shingle can keep the attic cooler in summer, and we will tell you plainly whether it makes sense for your home.
Ventilation Changes
Adding ridge vent, opening blocked soffits or removing old box vents adds some cost. It is often the part of the job that does the most for comfort.
Tear-Off Layers
Two or three old layers take more time and dump fees to remove than one.
Gutters and Extras
New gutters, drip edge, or replacing worn pipe boots and flashing all show up as their own lines on the estimate.

About Stroud Roofing

We run a small roofing outfit with simple rules. Show up at the time we gave you, say plainly what we find up there, and haul off every scrap before we go.

Heat is a big part of how we think about a roof. An Oklahoma summer can push an attic well past the temperature outside, and a roof that can't breathe sends that heat into the rooms below while it cooks the shingles from underneath. Proper venting, tight flashing and a sensible shingle choice are no substitute for insulation, but they take a real load off your home and your cooling system.

The phone is the way to reach us. Call to talk through what is going on with your roof and set up a visit. We would rather answer your questions on the call than leave you guessing.

From Your First Call to the Final Sweep

Every roof job follows the same steps, so you always know what comes next.

  1. 1

    You Call, We Listen

Tell us what you are noticing: a ceiling stain, missing shingles, an upstairs that won't cool down. We pick a time to come out.

  2. 2

    Roof and Attic Look

We walk the roof and check flashing, vents and gutters, then climb into the attic. You get photos of everything we found.

  3. 3

    Written Estimate

We go through the options one line at a time, including what needs doing now and what can wait. The decision is yours, with no pressure.

  4. 4

    Work Day

Plants get covered and the driveway gets protected before tear-off. We pull the permit where one is required, and old shingles go straight into the trailer or dumpster.

  5. 5

    Cleanup and Walk-Through

A magnet sweep picks up stray nails across the yard. Then we walk the finished roof with you so you see exactly what was done.

Questions We Hear Most

Can my roof be fixed, or does it need replacing?
Age and how far the damage spreads decide most of it. A handful of blown-off shingles or one cracked pipe boot is repair work. Shingles that are brittle across the whole roof, spongy decking or leaks that keep coming back usually point to a replacement. We show you photos and give you our honest call either way.
Will a new roof lower my energy bills?
It can help, but we won't oversell it. The biggest gains usually come from fixing poor attic ventilation and choosing a lighter, more reflective shingle, which keeps the attic cooler in summer. Insulation and your HVAC matter too. We will tell you what the roof itself can and can't do.
What warranty do you offer?
Our work is covered by a lifetime workmanship warranty. Shingles and other materials come with their own manufacturer coverage, and we will walk you through what applies to the products on your roof.
Can you help with my insurance claim after hail or wind?
We inspect the roof, take clear photos and write up what we found, so you have a record to hand your insurer. Coverage is the adjuster's call, not ours. We can explain the damage in plain terms and be on the roof with the adjuster if that helps.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most houses are done in one to two days once the crew starts. A bigger or steeper roof, extra layers or rotten decking can stretch that. Weather can also push the start date, and we let you know when it does.
Do you work on commercial buildings?
Yes. We do commercial roof repair and commercial roof replacement for local businesses, and we schedule those jobs to keep your operation running as normally as we can.
How do I get a price?
Call and tell us what is happening with the roof. We set a time to look at it and the attic, then put a written estimate in your hands. Get your quote by phone, and ask whatever you want while we are talking.
